FEES, DUES AND OTHER EXPENSES

Fee Categories

Students of KICSIT fall into one of the following three fee categories:

1. Category 1: Wards of KRL employees
2. Category 2: Wards of Strategic Organizations Employees
3. Category 3: Others than the above (General Public)

These categories need to be indicated in the application form. Fees and expenses for different categories are given in the table below.

It shall be noted that the amount of fees and dues given above may be reviewed by the University/KICSIT authorities from time to time.

Refund Policy for Freshly Admitted Students

If an enrolled or freshly admitted student leaves the institute and requests in writing to withdraw his/her dues, the same will be refunded except the admission fee as per the following policy:

Refunding of 1st Semester Fees

1. 95% refund before the start of classes as announced by the Institute.
2. 75% refund within one week (7 days) of start of classes.
3. 50% refund within two weeks (14 days) of start of classes.
4. 25% refund within three weeks (21 days) of start of classes.
5. No refund after three weeks (21 days) of start of classes.
6. Full refund of library and lab securities, if no damage amount stands against him/her.

Refund Policy of Fees for Subsequent Semesters Students

If a student discontinues his/her studies prior to mid term in the semesters other than the first for some genuine reason(s), then he/she can resume studies in the following semester, repeating the discontinued semester without paying any additional charges. In case of discontinuity after midterm exams, then the semester fees will be charged for the repeat of same or left out semesters. For discontinuity student has to obtain permission in writing and this ought to be notified for KICSIT internal records.
